Chanel is a Cuban-Spanish actress, singer, and dancer.

The artist is recognized for having participated in numerous musicals in Spain and television series, as well as for being the Spanish representative at the Eurovision Song Festival 2022.

Born in the Cuban capital, she moved with her family to Spain at the age of three, settling in Olesa de Montserrat (Catalonia), where she grew up.

From the age of nine, she received singing and acting classes, and ballet classes according to the Royal Academy Of Dance system. Her dance studies include learning from dance figures such as Victor Ullate, Coco Comín, and Gloria Gella. At sixteen years old, she began taking her first steps in the world of musical theater.

2010-2020: MTV Europe Music Awards and musicals
Chanel moved to Madrid to begin her career as an actress. She became known throughout the 2010s by participating in different musicals, highlighting some very well-known ones such as Mamma Mia!, Flashdance, The Bodyguard, and The Lion King.

Her career includes numerous performances on small and big screen at national and international level.7 In 2015 she participates in El rey de La Habana by Agustí Villaronga.

As a dancer she has collaborated with different artists. In 2010, she danced with Shakira in the performance of the Colombian singer at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

She was part of the dance corps of the popular program Tu cara me suena on Antena 3.

2021-2022: Spain's candidacy for Eurovision 2022
She auditions for the musical West Side Story in Spain, remaining among the three finalists for the role of Anita. She also remained among the five finalists for the same character in the new film version of West Side Story, directed by Steven Spielberg, for which she went to New York for an audition before the director.

She participated in Benidorm Fest 2022, an event held to select Spain's representative candidacy at the Eurovision Song Festival, with the song SloMo. The choreography that accompanied the song during Benidorm Fest was created by Ky Hanagami, choreographer of Jennifer López, Britney Spears, and Blackpink among others, supporting the strength of the song. After securing first place in the first semi-final on January 26, 2022, she obtained the highest number of points also in the final on January 29, becoming Spain's representative at Eurovision in Turin (Italy). The good atmosphere among the artists participating in the Benidorm festival was shown with the subsequent support they have shown to the winner.

In February she records the SloMo music video in Madrid, directed by Pawla Casanova. She also travels to Miami to record her next song.
