Forbes magazine has published the list of the 100 most influential and powerful women in Spain in 2022 and included Cuban-Spanish singer Chanel Terrero, following her excellent performance at the Eurovision Song Festival.
At this international event, Chanel placed Spain in third place, where it obtained 459 points, a position that the European country took "as glory and a success not seen in years."
Regarding her career, the magazine itself said: "Although her name was not known in the music industry until she won Benidorm Fest, her experience and her stage presence began with a demonstration of talent in musical theater, also in various Spanish television series. Now, her success continues to bear fruit and her fame crosses the borders of the country."
A few days ago Chanel premiered "TOKE", a song that will accompany the Spanish football team and fans to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
In fact, this song, the singer's second single, was chosen by Spanish Radio Television and that country's football team to be played at each of their matches.
Furthermore, the artist performs the Spanish version of "La Estrella Azul", the main theme of the film Pinocchio, a new Disney remake of the Italian children's classic.
As they explain, on this list are people who, within or outside of social networks, their names are important, have leadership, innovate or are respected in fields such as business, music, sports, culture or art.
Among the 100 women named, notable names stand out such as singer Aitana, of whom they highlight her award as Best Spanish Artist by the Europe Music Awards and the Ondas Award Phenomenon of the Year. Also included is athlete Ana Peleteiro, bronze medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, or Cristina Pedroche, businesswoman and presenter.
