Tahimi Alvariño Veloz is a prominent Cuban actress who has participated in important dramatic productions on television and also in theater. She carries art in her genes and bears the responsibility of maintaining the legacy of a family that is a reference in the world of the Cuban stage.

She was born in Havana into a family of artists, as she is the daughter of actress Coralita Veloz. Furthermore, her grandparents Ramón Veloz and Coralia Fernández were very important artistic figures in Cuba, specifically in the area of music.

She never wanted to be an actress; she wanted to be a doctor like her father; specifically a surgeon, that idea remained with her until the day she saw blood and fainted.

One day she woke up and told her grandfather that she wanted to be an actress. Everyone in the family was alarmed because she had never belonged to an amateur group. Thus, as she grew up, life taught her that undoubtedly, artistic talent ran through her veins. As a result, Tahimi Alvariño discovered that her vocation was definitely oriented toward acting, thus beginning her career as an actress.

This change of perspective took her relatives by surprise, but they equally gave her their support and accompanied and guided her in her artistic development.

Subsequently, Tahimi Alvariño assumes her first challenges as an actress and presents herself at the ISA tests, Superior Institute of Art, and passes them. Shortly after, she also decided to participate in a casting for a youth series where she was chosen thanks to her evident talent and grace.

As an artist, Alvariño has been characterized by her professionalism and versatility, being able to take on the different challenges presented to her. Likewise, she stands out with singing ability, dancing, and performs very well in different sports disciplines.

Throughout her career as an actress, Tahimi Alvariño has performed excellently in various types of roles. Therefore, we have seen her embody various and memorable characters in cinema, theater, and television.

Upon returning to Cuban TV, Cubans enjoyed her talent thanks to the role of the mother of a teenager she played in the telenovela Entrega, by Alberto Luberta (Son).
