Tahimí Alvariño and Bárbaro Marín film movie in Dominican Republic

Cuban actors Tahimí Alvariño and Bárbaro Marín are currently filming a movie in the Dominican Republic.

The actress shared images on her social media and said she was happy with the new project and would reveal details later.

So far, it is only known that the film is directed by Dominican filmmaker Félix Germán, known for films such as La isla rota, El proyeccionista, and La maldición del padre Cardona.

The Cuban actors are the stars of the film that is being filmed at this moment, which is titled El Tiburón.

Tahimí Alvariño and Bárbaro Marín, who had a relationship of more than two decades and are parents of María Fernanda and Diego, made their professional debut as a couple last year on the television program "Alianza en la casa," on the Cubavisión channel.

Despite their marriage ending in divorce about six years ago, the actors have great complicity and undeniable chemistry. In addition to the television program of which they were hosts, Tahimí and Bárbaro demonstrated their good relationship in the interview segment that the actress conducted from Cuba for her sister María Karla Rivero's show, in which Bárbaro Marín was one of the guests.
