Laura Ramos Hernández

Popular Cuban actress who has played several characters throughout her career both on screen and in theater. She graduated in Performing Arts from the National School of Art in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She was born in Havana, Cuba, studied in Argentina, a country where she graduated in Performing Arts from the National School of Art in Buenos Aires.

She has worked in theater, television and film, and despite her youth, has already received several awards and recognitions.

The Cuban actress, who since her youth has developed most of her professional life between Spain, Colombia and Brazil, has returned to Island screens thanks to her role as the cartomancer Estrella in the popular Colombian series Tarde lo conocí.

Artistic Career
Her beginnings in the world of theater were marked by the theatrical works Electra Garrigó, by the Irrumpe group, directed by renowned Cuban playwright and actor Roberto Blanco, and by her participation in The Would-Be Gentleman, under the direction of Frenchman Jérôme Savary, then director of the Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris.

This actress has developed a successful career in both theater (she has acted in Cuba, France, Mexico and Spain) and film. She also was part of the cast of a television series produced by Spanish channel Antena 3. She received the Coral Award for Best Supporting Actress at the XXI International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana for her work in the films Operation Fangio and The Prophecies of Amanda.

In theater she has performed in productions such as "The Would-Be Gentleman" or "The Nights of Hotel Luna Caribe", among others.
