Cuban actress Laura Ramos triumphs in Spanish series

Cuban actress Laura Ramos is triumphing in Spain as one of the main actresses in the Spanish series "Entrevías". The new drama brings together the Telecinco channel with Netflix, under the authorship of Aitor Gabilondo and David Bermejo.

Ramos plays Gladys, Nelson's mother: a beautiful Cuban woman, likeable, talkative, who loves to dance and go out, but she is also a temperamental woman, explosive and with a character forged throughout a complicated life in which the only thing she considers truly valuable is her son Nelson, the result of her relationship with a Colombian man who abandoned her.

The series, according to Mediaset, "combines drama, action and comedic moments in its plots while addressing underlying issues such as the generation gap, changes in society, the crisis of values and coexistence among people of different cultures".


With a 15.4% share, the most recent chapter of the series grew to 17.9% in the commercial target audience and to 27.4% among young people aged 16 to 24. Likewise, the four chapters of the series broadcast in February top the ranking of the most-watched broadcasts on demand in the last month, with an accumulated total of nearly 1.7 million viewers that add to the linear followers of the series on Telecinco.

"Entrevías" is also starring Spanish actor José Coronado, who was recognized in Cuba for the police series "Brigada Central" alongside fellow actor Imanol Arias. In the most recent chapters, Coronado, who plays Tirso Abantos, will try to ask Gladys (Laura Ramos) out, which the character may accept, according to what the actress herself revealed in her stories.

Ramos has also shared several photos of her character on social media and has also published images alongside the cast that accompanies her, especially alongside Colombian actor Felipe Londoño, who plays her son in the fiction.
