Cuban actress Laura Ramos published an emotional message dedicated to David Bermejo, one of the creators of the Spanish series "Entrevías", in which the Cuban actress plays the character of Gladys.
On her Instagram profile, the artist began by saying: "This man here was destined to write a character that would change my life forever, and I was destined to play it. David Bermejo, listen well to his name, he is a wonderful screenwriter and content creator and an even more incredible person (without the latter, what does the rest matter anyway)".
In her message she continued commenting that "we are both from '78 and we understand each other perfectly. I love considering him my friend, someone who was definitely meant to be in my path".
About Bermejo she also said that she could "recognize his voice, his writing, when the scripts arrive. He has a unique sense of humor and a great heart".
She also added that "he doesn't have Instagram but I wanted to thank him publicly for the wonderful gift that Gladys has been in my life".
Ramos' role, who has been living in Spain for several years, has undoubtedly been decisive in her career, achieving great popularity thanks to it in the artistic scene of the European nation.
The artist also wanted to thank executive producer Aitor Gabilondo, of whom she said he is "an absolute and exquisite genius". She then stated that with both Gabilondo and Bermejo she hopes to work for many more years.
Finally, Laura clarified that "this message is just because, because sometimes you just have to stop for a second and say: Thank you".
Laura's portrayal of the character of Gladys, a single mother and immigrant who struggles to provide for her son in a Madrid neighborhood, has been highly acclaimed by critics and audiences who have enjoyed "Entrevías".
Since its first season premiered in 2022, "Entrevías" was placed in the Top 10 of series recommended by Netflix to its audience. The second season, which premiered earlier this year, had the same fortune.
Ramos, in addition to her work in Cuba and Spain, has managed to build a career with important work in film and television in other countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, France, and Mexico.
One of her most recent works is the Spanish series "Los Farad", which will premiere this year on Amazon Prime, and where she shared the screen with other Cubans such as popular actor Héctor Noas and screenwriter Alejandro Hernández.
