She is one of the most popular Cuban actresses of the first decade of the 21st century in Cuba.
She was born in La Habana, and graduated from the Faculty of Performing Arts at the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in 1995. During her time as a student at ISA, she participated in various theatrical productions under the direction of professors and directors such as: Vicente Revuelta, José Antonio Rodríguez, and Roberto Blanco.
Titles such as La historia de un antiguo encanto, Los invitados del rey, Ubu Rey, among others, were part of her early studies; as well as in the classics she had her role in Lady Macbeth and later, with the theater group Buscón, she was part of the cast of Cuentos de amor, humor y muerte and La historia de un escaparate. This under the direction of José A. Rodríguez. She participated in theatrical creation workshops taught by Eugenio Barba, as well as in the "Elsinor" festivals that took place at the Instituto Superior de Arte. During this stage she published works of dramaturgy, stories and poetic prose, as a contributor to the Faculty's magazine Albur.
Once graduated from ISA, she was asked to join the theater group "Irrumpe," under the direction of Roberto Blanco. She worked in television in telenovelas, police series, adventure films, and festival presentations and musical events. Miniseries, both humorous and of other genres, are part of the actress's work.
She has worked as a host in the programs 23 y M and Ecos de mujer, on Cuban Television, as well as in the Lucas Awards and the Festival Cubadisco.
She has worked as a model for photographer Roberto Salas, and for photographic exhibitions by painter Ismael Gómez Peralta. She appeared as a model in the music video Apretaíto, pero relajao, by Ian Padrón for the group Sampling. She is a member of UNEAC and the Asociación Hermanos Saíz, as well as of the Consejo Nacional de las Artes Escénicas.
