Pitbull

He is an American singer, rapper, and music producer of Cuban descent.

He started out with genres like hip hop. Later he specialized more in electro house and dance pop genres, while also working in many others, because he is one of the most sought-after artists for collaborations with various singers such as Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Jennifer López, Belinda, Ne-Yo, Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Usher, Fergie, Havana Brown, Chris Brown, among others. He grew up in Little Habana, a section of Miami known for its large population of Cuban descent.

He grew up in Little Havana, a section of Miami known for its large Cuban population. His performance was first recorded from Lil Jon's Kings of Crunk album in 2002, after which he released his debut album in 2004 titled MIAMI (Money is a Major Issue) under TVT Records.

Before releasing his debut album M.I.A.M.I (Money Is A Major Issue), Pitbull collaborated with Lil Jon on the 2002 Kings Of Crunk album, and on the 2 Fast 2 Furious soundtrack with "Oye" (2003).

Pitbull was invited to record with controversial rapper Luke from (2 Live Crew), on the hit "Lollipop". Additionally, Pitbull has also recorded several mixtapes, the most recent being Unleashed Volume 5.

Apart from crunk, his album shows clear influences of Miami Bass. In 2005, he achieved success with the singles "Toma", "Culo" and "Dammit Man", in 2009 with "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" and the most recent "Hotel Room Service" and "Shut it Down" with Akon, becoming anthems on the dance floor.

Many of Pitbull's songs have been selected for video game soundtracks; "Dammit Man" appears in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, "Toma" in WWE Day of Reckoning 2 and "Back Up" in Fight Night: Round.

In 2010 he achieved international fame, covering the European market by collaborating with Enrique Iglesias on the song "I Like It" and the American market in his collaboration with rapper Usher on the single "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love".

In the world of dance, his songs "Si tu boquita fuera" melody of "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)", also his song "Maldito Alcohol" and "Bon Bon Bon" have become well known. Pitbull masters both English and Spanish, and uses both languages to create his songs, by mixing them together or each one separately.
