Mia Angelina Donadio Cancio, known as Mia Dio, is a Miami-born content creator and pageant contestant who won the Miss Universe Cuba 2026 title on August 20, 2026, representing Isla de la Juventud. A graduate in International Relations from Florida International University, she first competed in Miss Universe Cuba in 2025, finishing among the top five finalists and earning the pageant's Miss Popularity award for her social media following of more than a million. She returned for a second attempt in 2026 after disclosing a bout of facial paralysis before the previous year's final, ultimately winning the crown over five other regional finalists. Dio will go on to represent Cuba at the 75th Miss Universe competition, scheduled for November 24, 2026, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has also used her platform to raise awareness of health and social issues affecting Cuban women.
