He is the man behind big-budget films such as Desert Lovers and Burden of Guilt, as well as television dramas such as Italian Bride and La Desalmada.

He has also established himself as one of the most talented actors and producers in the world of entertainment.

As of 2022, the skilled actor Francisco Gattorno has accumulated a phenomenal net worth of $3 million. Gattorno owns a series of box office hits that have given him not only a name but also a fortune. Additionally, the actor has invested in houses in Cuba, Florida and Mexico. He also has a considerable collection of high-end automobiles that cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Gattorno grew up in a typical Cuban family, his father is a Spanish immigrant from the Canary Islands while his mother descends from Haitian settlers of French descent established in Cuba in the early 19th century. In his childhood, the actor developed an interest in acting by watching Spanish television programs. As a result, despite his parents' opposition to him becoming an actor, he pursued his ambitions on his own. His father finally took a position in support of his dreams when he was eighteen years old.

The actor studied acting and directing in his native Cuba before completing his studies at a Mexican university. Gattorno's favorite hobby during high school was baseball.

In 1994 he participates in the Cuban feature film Fresa y chocolate, directed by Juan Carlos Tabío and Tomás Gutiérrez Alea. That same year he arrives in Mexico invited by actress and producer Florinda Meza who, amazed by his performance in Fresa y chocolate, gives him the leading role in her telenovela La dueña playing José María alongside Angélica Rivera and Cynthia Klitbo. The success of the telenovela gave him national and international exposure that allowed him to become more prominent in the artistic world.

In 1996 he receives a new opportunity in the telenovela Cañaveral de pasiones playing one of the main characters as Juan de Dios alongside Daniela Castro and Juan Soler. This is another success for his career. That same year he makes a special guest appearance in the telenovela Tú y yo by Emilio Larrosa. By then Gattorno had caught the attention of several producers in the field. In 1998 he makes the film Engaño Mortal and also a role in the telenovela Preciosa.

In 1999 he plays a role in the film Entre la tarde y la noche by Óscar Blancarte which was starred by Angélica Aragón. That same year he stars in the telenovela Laberintos de pasión alongside Leticia Calderón and César Évora.

In 2005 he plays Roberto in the film about immigrants La migra.

That same year he stars alongside Itatí Cantoral and Martín Karpan in the telenovela La viuda de Blanco with which he would conclude his contract with that network and with which he decides to take a break from his artistic career until 2009 when he filmed the films Chance in Panama and Sin ella in Mexico.

In April 2009 he rejoined Televisa in the cast of the telenovela Mi pecado playing Rodolfo Huerta, a role that actor Ernesto Laguardia was unable to play. In this production he works alongside Maite Perroni, Eugenio Siller, Sabine Moussier, Roberto Blandón, Sergio Goyri, Armando Araiza and for the third time with Daniela Castro.

In 2009 he joined the cast of the telenovela Atrévete a soñar alongside Cynthia Klitbo, René Strickler and Vanessa Guzmán.1

Later, the renowned Mexican-Cuban actor married Belmaris González Suazo, in 2001. Gattorno and his wife, Belmaris, had two daughters named Isabella and Carolina Alicia.

Currently Francisco is involved with Adamarys Espinosa, a young woman. Francisco's girlfriend proposed marriage to him on live television a few months ago, during the Covid-19 phase. According to then24, Francisco's girlfriend, Adamarys Espinosa, proposed marriage to him on the live program "Hoy" on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Although the Cuban actor accepted her proposal during the interview, he later stated that he was delighted with Adamarys but had no intention of marrying her.
