Raydel, Saúl
Born in the municipality of Guanabacoa in the capital, he is the brother of writer Laura Liz Gil. He wanted to be a psychiatrist like his father but theater changed everything.
He began in the Theater group of the Villa, in Guanabacoa. When he was in 9th grade he began preparing for the ENA exams, he had actress Massiel Dueñas as his teacher, unfortunately he failed on two occasions but this did not stop him. In 11th grade he prepared strongly and took the exam again and entered ENA on the third attempt.
He speaks little with his parents about his work and is very independent. He longs to begin studying at the ISA in the course for workers. As an ENA student he recorded the Cuban telenovela El rostro de los días. He participated in the program Tras la huella in the case like the foam. He likes perfection, that everything turns out the best possible.
He is passionate about cinema.

His natural way of approaching acting, just as he does life, we have verified in his still short career. Gil is a face that denotes authenticity while showing a multiplicity of nuances that the viewer recognizes and, therefore, appreciates.
After the novel Los hijos de Pandora, Rodrigo studies at the Central School of Film in Madrid and is rediscovering somewhat the student world, since he graduated in 2020 from the National School of Art and passed and was admitted to the University of the Arts, but as a consequence of the pandemic he did not continue; it was then that he focused on this idea of resuming his studies because, after all, acting is that… study."
In the midst of projects aimed at continuing to grow, who knows if cinema might be the next step for Rodrigo Gil to reach.
