Daniel Romero Pildain

Young Cuban actor in Cuban Television, Theater and Cinema.

When Fernando Pérez began casting for the film José Martí: el ojo del canario, Daniel was in his first year of acting studies at the National School of Art. Due to his physical appearance and his qualities he was quickly among the strongest candidates and after several tests he was finally selected to play the difficult role of adolescent Martí. Film critics, up to the present, have issued very favorable judgments of his performance. He has worked in television where he was part of the cast of the series Con palabras propias.

In the year 2010 José Martí: el ojo del canario (Cuba-Spain Co-production.). Dir. Fernando Pérez. The actor's physiognomy differs greatly from the character in that film; he is a tall young man, with straight and long hair, passionate. The film was selected among 10 of the best by the Cuban Association of Film Press. Without a doubt his life has changed.

In 2018 he played the role of the Camagüey patriot Ignacio Agramonte, in the Cuban film El Mayor by director Rigoberto López.

Daniel was also part of the cast of the series Zoológico.

A relevant participation by this actor was his performance in the theatrical work Diez millones as part of the Argos Teatro group. Also of great importance was his participation in the theatrical production of Hierro in the same theater group.
