Graduate of Informational Design from the Instituto Superior de Diseño Industrial, his musical training is self-taught. Since high school he was part of a trova group called Carpe Diem, and from then on music captivated him never to let him go.
He was organizer and host of the peña La Séptima Cuerda at the Biblioteca Pública "Rubén Martínez Villena", in Habana Vieja, a space aimed at youth and from which Berazaín gained followers of his music, increasingly committed to his time. He has also been present at national events such as "Al sur de mi mochila" in Cienfuegos, "Longina" in Santa Clara, "Canción política" in Guantánamo and at the meetings of "La tropa Cósmica" in La Habana.
The harmonica is one of the elements that distinguishes his musical work; he learned to play it with Frank Delgado, and it has been above all his virtuosity with this instrument that has led him to recording studios to accompany other singer-songwriters and even rock bands. He has collaborated as a musician in audiovisual works such as the telenovela El balcón de los helechos, the feature film Jura decir la verdad and the short films Monte Rouge, High Tech and Photoshop.
He is the author of the independent albums Escúchame de un portazo, from 2004, Cantar en el tejado, from 2006, and Adrián Berazaín y Bajo Techo, also from 2006.
He has performed in different venues in the capital and throughout the country and has worked with singer-songwriters such as Frank Delgado, Vicente Feliú, Liuba María Hevia, Augusto Blanca, Marta Campos, Ireno García, William Vivanco, David Torrens, Erick Sánchez, Fernando Bécquer, Diego Cano, among others.
Berazaín states: From Indio Naborí, Adrián Berazaín learned that in musical creations one cannot "invent" what one has not lived. So his songs become a mirror of his personal satisfactions and directions, of his most penetrating experiences, of his genuine yearnings to live, of that passion he puts into each lyric and guitar note.
Perhaps that is why in recent times this young Cuban singer-songwriter is so acclaimed, not only by new generations, but also by those who see in him a current follower, in his own way, of those names that have marked island trova.
His themes depart from the eminently commercial sense that germinates in today's songs, adhering to a more personal creation, felt and thought out in search of transmitting emotions, not only romantic ones.
"Since I was little I always listened to many songs by Silvio, Pablo, I received great influence from The Beatles, mostly because my parents instilled that taste in me. Maybe if I had listened to another type of music, I would have clung to other branches closer to people's common taste."
