"Hope doesn't tire and roams free" is a message that survives the told chapters of a soap opera. Who doubts it? The theme by Adrián Berazaín, which is part of the soundtrack of Entrega, will be the pretext and protagonist of a concert next March 7 at the Karl Marx theater.
According to Adrián, rather than offering a recital, the idea is to enjoy "an artistic gala with friends, more than a concert.
"I have as guests the Coro Diminuto and Ray Cruz, the Manuel from Entrega, singing this theme. There will also be other guests like Buena Fe, David Blanco, Mauricio Figueiral, Luna Manzanares, Annie Garcés and Kamankola".
Suelta already has a music video, produced by Bis Music, in which actor Ray Cruz joins Berazaín, Manuel from the Cuban soap opera. How did the idea for this duet come about? Another conspiracy of friends: "Israel Rojas tells me one day: why don't you make a duet with the theme of the novel where you invite Ray?; he has a music project and that would look very good, it would be a promotional hit. And it's incredible how people like to see Ray singing the theme of the novel and they enjoy it".
Without a doubt, Suelta is a song blessed by friendship: "Ray and I have known each other since pre-school, and now with the soap opera we have sealed a friendship forever. We call each other almost every day and it has been very satisfying both professionally and spiritually".
Adrián graduated from ISDI around the same time I was finishing my Journalism studies. Since then I have applauded him greatly at the presentations of La Séptima Cuerda. Therefore, I love to see how he has found a way to put one talent inside another, even if it's just to not lose the craft:
"I continue designing the covers of my albums, posters and anything related to image. Right now I'm immersed in the March 7 concert: I made the spot, the poster, everything that has to do with the image. I use design when some partner needs me to make something and trusts me, but, professionally, as a designer, I haven't been practicing for a few years. Music takes a lot of time, dedication and sacrifice. Sometimes I stop having fun a bit, leisure time, to dedicate time to making songs".
And well, it's clear that, between image and sound, music won in the heart of a kid who "is into everything": "When I entered pre-school, I asked my dad to teach me to play guitar, and by late tenth grade I was already making my first songs. There was a plan to study Design. I'm good at drawing and I've always liked computers. But during my studies I continued developing as a troubadour. I graduated, did my social service, and two years later I was already dedicating myself to music".
You have to remember the success of his first music video, with Diana Fuentes; that business about "I'm staying in the club of broken hearts" and the opportunity to record with Bis Music his first album in 2009 seemed like signs: "Everything in my life led me to dedicate myself to singing, playing guitar and composing".
Adrián's dream seems simple: "Never stop dreaming", and he makes it viable, putting effort into each project, like this single he's defending now and which will be part of a future phonogram, once again with Bis Music, with which he will surely maintain what he considers the essence of his music: "to express, to transmit. A music that is the mirror of what I live without overwhelming the public, who doesn't have to share your way of thinking. You have to make the public fall in love, seduce them, from your point of view".
