Yasmanis, the boy who moves cars with the strength of his mouth

Yasmanis Fonseca Estrada is a young man from Camagüey with an extraordinary gift, as he weighs 110 pounds and with a rope gripped between his teeth he manages to move even vehicles.

Yasmanis came to Santiago de Cuba in search of support from the authorities of the Sports Department to develop his ability, and perhaps represent the country in international extreme strength events.

He discovered this gift by chance about 10 years ago. "One day working at the Havana bakery Neptuno 8, a tray fell on my knee and as a reaction to the intense pain, I bit a flour sack that was nearby and managed to move it to the side, Yasmanis recounted to the Cuban News Agency.

"My coworkers couldn't believe it, they were frightened and ran away, because that thing weighed 110 pounds. Three days after the incident, I grabbed another sack, lifted it several times and walked four times 10 meters with it. I myself didn't believe it".

"With cars I started with the Willy's belonging to the administrator of my workplace, from there, my colleagues encouraged me to seek a medical explanation for this phenomenon and the possibility of presenting it to authorities to make my talent known.

"Then came a Lada, a truck and a Transgaviota bus with 12 passengers inside, an event that occurred on Galiano Street in Havana, seen and filmed by many people".

So far, this ability of Yasmanis remains a mystery, doctors tell him they can't explain it, as he has no physical damage and his teeth are impeccable.

Fonseca Estrada recalled his childhood, when he had difficulty chewing, ate quickly and nibbled on the rubber of the baby bottle. I was a very hyperactive infant, now I realize I was already developing this gift, the man 1.54 m tall stated.

He made headlines in the Juventud Rebelde newspaper in 2014, and upon his arrival in the Hero City, his demonstrations were reported by local media Sierra Maestra and Tele Turquino.

Yasmanis found support in the indomitable land from the Provincial Sports Department, and managed to display his ability by pulling a car on an uphill slope in the town of El Caney and on Garzón Avenue, in front of the 18-story buildings, he repeated the feat with a bus.

This young man does not exercise nor is his build robust or muscular. Regarding his diet he mentions that he avoids eating fats and consumes lots of vegetables. His goal is to increase muscle mass to move a railroad car and he also dreams of doing it with an airplane.

I have felt that in Santiago my arms began to become more robust and my aspiration is to meet more people with gifts like mine, to compete, exchange experiences and for the media to be able to tell about them, Fonseca Estrada expressed.

In any case, the mystery about his ability remains and the question where does he get the strength to perform these remarkable acts?, for now has no answer.

That is why he causes a sensation when he gives a demonstration and already on social networks there are those who call him the Cuban Hercules.
