Cuban singer Lucrecia Pérez Sáez will perform Celia Vive at 8:00 p.m. on October 10, 2026, at the Miramar Cultural Center in Miramar, Florida — a musical tribute that closes South Florida’s celebrations of Celia Cruz’s centennial, according to Diario Las Américas and the venue’s official calendar.
Omer Pardillo Cid, executor of Celia Cruz’s estate, said Lucrecia has spent about 14 years carrying the Guarachera’s music “with respect, passion and cubanía,” and that she also starred in the musical Celia. Born in Havana and based in Barcelona, she will share the stage with the Celia Cruz All Stars Band and revisit the Queen of Salsa’s greatest hits.
“An infinite honor to be chosen” for the worldwide centennial celebration, Lucrecia told Diario Las Américas. The Miramar Cultural Center lists the show from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. at 2400 Civic Center Place. Her calendar continues October 14 at La Musa Awards and October 16 at Seton Hall University’s Generaciones gala in New York.
