Osdalgia Participated in Nicaragua's Bolero Festival

Singer Osdalgia Lesmes participated this Sunday in the X International Festival of Bolero and Romantic Song, held in Nicaragua since last February 24th.

The performances in the departments of Carazo and Jinotega included classic pieces of the genre such as El día que me quieras, by Carlos Gardel; Dos gardenias, by Isolina Carillo; Lágrimas negras, by Miguel Matamoros, among other memorable songs, according to Prensa Latina.

The event invited artists from nine countries in this edition: Costa Rica, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Cuba and Nicaragua itself. The concerts, completely free of charge, are taking place in the departments of Carazo, Chinandega, Jinotega, Masaya and León.

According to the Prensa Latina agency, she is one of the most significant female voices in the Cuban musical landscape, with record productions and soundtracks for film and television. She was part of the groups Las sepias de fuego, 1992; Canela, 1995; Las chicas del sabor, 1996, and the pop-trova trio Aries, 1997.
