Gabriel Ricard and Saily Gordillo, NTV journalists, arrived in Miami

Cuban journalist Saily Pérez Gordillo and her partner Gabriel Ricard, actor and sports commentator, confirmed that they are in Miami.

The news can be read in a post made by both of them last Thursday in which they published images from the Ermita de la Caridad, in Miami.

Although the news was circulating as a rumor based on two posts on the Instagram account "La Familia Cubana", until now neither of the two protagonists had confirmed the information.

A graduate of the Journalism program at the University of La Habana, Saily Pérez worked in the "Culture" section of the "Revista Informativa Buenos Días".

Ricard, trained as an Art Instructor and with experience in acting, was a presenter of the sports segment on the National Television News (NTV) and had also been a presenter of the television program "Talla Joven".

In recent days Ricard had announced the upcoming premiere of a new segment about the history of Cuban volleyball called "El Rematazo", in partnership with La Familia Cubana and with the participation of former volleyball player Alain Roca.

Following the confirmation of their arrival in Miami, the couple of young Cubans has joined the growing list of communicators from the island who in recent months have left Cuba.
