Lázaro, son of the "Promise Payer," Dies

The son of Omar Quintero Montes de Oca, the Cuban known as "the promise payer," died this Saturday from cancer.

Erich Concepción, who from the United States has been bringing aid to Cuba, posted on a tweet:

"With great sadness I have to inform you that at 1:14 am today, Lázaro has passed away, the son of The Promise Payer, for whom we have been so concerned. All that remains is to tell him that thanks to Him, many of us became better people, that his struggle was beautiful and that he travels to The Father's House with light on his face, where there is no more pain or sorrow. My deepest condolences to Omar and his entire family. I am shocked by this news."
