The Cuban actor Ramoncito Veloz is hospitalized in Miami after becoming ill with Covid-19, according to an announcement made on social media by his niece, actress María Karla Rivero Veloz. The artist is stable and recovering at this time.

From the hospital, Cuban actor Ramoncito Veloz has sent a message to all his followers and has assured them that, although he looked death in the face, he has managed to get through it. "Thursday I'll be there with you," he assured with complete confidence that he will soon leave the hospital to reunite with his loved ones.

His colleagues and relatives from the Somos Miami TV team returned to their space at La casa de Maka and took the opportunity to call him and talk with him.

"Family we want to let you know that our uncle Ramoncito Veloz is hospitalized with COVID, but he is already stable. We ask for your good energy and prayers to have him back with us soon and continue celebrating LIFE. BLESSINGS UNCLE AND MUCH STRENGTH," they wrote on the Facebook profile of the show "Somos Miami TV".

Days before, his followers on FB had expressed "Friends, I want to ask everyone for a strong prayer for our Ramoncito Veloz, who is in intensive care due to Covid, and although serious, he has improved and it seems he will continue recovering satisfactorily".

Ramoncito Veloz is the brother of Cuban actress Coralita Veloz, and son of the great pair of artists, Coralia Fernández and Ramón Veloz. He acted as a child alongside his parents in the Cuban television space, "Palmas y cañas". In that medium he was also recognized for the telenovela "Sol de Batey".

In film he worked in classic films such as "Se Permuta" and "La Bella del Alhambra". Since the 1980s the actor emigrated to the United States. Currently he was collaborating with his niece María Karla on her show.
