Tirso is a singer, but also a composer, pianist, and arranger.

In his early days as an artist, he played keyboard for Pachito Alonso, after having trained as a musician at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory. He also played for La Charanga Habanera, more or less from 1998 to 2001, according to the Last FM portal.

Later, he continued his career as a vocalist in NG La Banda and was one of the founders of the band Pupy y los que son son.

Subsequently, he went on to lead his own group, La Sonoridad, and was a member of Afrocuban All Stars.

Among his most famous songs are 'Charanguero mayor', 'La vecina', and 'Riqui Rincón'. About five months ago, he released 'Pa' Cali', a new Cuban salsa and salsa timba song.

The artist proclaimed himself as an interpreter "of the best of romantic Cuban salsa to dance, enjoy, and dedicate with love, salsa with old but good lyrics".
