Seidy Carrera, known professionally as Seidy La Niña, is a Cuban singer and dancer born in El Cotorro, Havana. She trained at Cuba's ProDanza dance school before emigrating to the United States in 1999, where she studied flamenco and built a career as a dancer and singer that included appearances on "El Show de Fernando Hidalgo" and "El Mikimbín de Miami," as well as spots on Univision and Telemundo.

She twice won the "Póngale el Ritmo" segment on Sábado Gigante and won Univision's reality competition "Viva la Diva." She also portrayed a young Celia Cruz in the musical "Celia, su música, su vida, su leyenda" and has released singles including "Tumbao," a tribute to Celia Cruz herself, along with "Ranpanpam," "Enjoy the Ride," "Sola" and "Esto es mucho." In 2014 she survived a serious car accident that left her in a coma for a month, an episode she recovered from to continue her artistic career.
