Leopoldo Berrier Fernández

He was born in Güines, current province of Mayabeque. He was President of the Circle of Lawyers of Ciudad de La Habana in 1882. Dean of the College of Lawyers, regular member of the Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País and First Rector of the Universidad de La Habana from 1898 to 1915.

Among his works is Influencia del cristianismo en el derecho penal de los romanos.
