Federico Córdova

Died: September 8, 1960

Born in La Habana, the writer and lawyer Federico Córdoba was a professor at the Universidad de La Habana and secretary of the Academia de Historia.

In 1933 he became a magistrate of the Tribunal Supremo, from which he ceased when the coup d'état by Fulgencio Batista occurred.

When the Revolution triumphed, he was offered reinstatement to his position, but he could not accept it given his advanced age.

He died in La Habana on September 8, 1960.
