José Luis Toledo Santander

Bachelor of Laws and Doctor of Legal Sciences. President of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power. Deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power for the Plaza de la Revolución municipality, ratified on April 18, 2018 for the IX Legislature.

He began his working life as a professor of Adult Education at the School of Economics, management courses and at the Workers and Peasants Faculty.

He was a Prosecutor in Sancti Spíritus and Chief Prosecutor in Ciego de Ávila and Havana City, a position he held until he was elected Vice Prosecutor General of the Republic, a role he performed until 1994. He was Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Havana.

Deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power, ratified on April 18, 2018 at the Constitutive Session of the IX Legislature, held at the Havana Convention Palace.

Member of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) and the Central Organization of Cuban Workers (CTC).
