He studied at the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Alejandro de La Habana. In early 1993 he moved to Barcelona. In 1994 and 1995 he obtained the Pilar Juncosa and Sotheby's Scholarships, awarded by the Fundación Joan Miró de Mallorca.
Currently he works as a creative director at Linkgua Ediciones in Barcelona and the United States. For this publisher he creates, designs and illustrates book covers and interiors, among which stand out Nunca Canté en Broadway by Ramón Fernández Larrea, La Isla de los Mirlos negros by José Hugo Fernández, Diario de Bolivia by Ernesto Guevara de la Serna, annotated edition by Canek Sánchez Guevara and Radamés Molina Montes, Cuentos afrocubanos (Patakines) by Radamés Molina Montes, La utopía vacía (intelectuales y Estado en Cuba), compilation of essays by contemporary Cuban authors compiled by Carlos A. Aguilera, Concierto Cubano (La vida es un Divino guión) by journalist Joaquín Borges-Triana.
In collaboration with Mexican creator Marco Hernández he created the illustrations for the book-CD Cantando de cuento by Cuban troubadour Tania Moreno, which features musicians Kelvis Ochoa and Raúl Torres. Together with writer and editor Radamés Molina he created the NETBOOK collection, which groups together the following titles: Revolución, Black Hawk, Ache dos o, últimos días del Che, Tracción fatal, Toda una vida, La gran marea, Fidel, and Siglo XX La Video Instalación Che Guevara Netbook. Recently, Linkgua editorial published his book Viaje a la semilla, which collects part of his creative work from the last six years.
Among his recent exhibitions stand out: 2007-2008 CH€! Revolución y Mercado, Palau de la Virreina, Barcelona. 2006 Art Madrid, Modern and Contemporary Art Salon, Pabellón de Cristal de la Casa de Campo, invited by Galería Páginas Espai D'art, Madrid. In 2005 he presented his personal exhibition Fe at the aforementioned gallery, Barcelona. In 2002 he participated in the exhibition Donaciones de obra gráfica a la Biblioteca Nacional de España, in Madrid.
