Eblis Veranes is a Cuban beach volleyball player from the province of Guantánamo. He partners with fellow Guantánamo native Damián Gómez Limonta, forming one of the youngest and most promising men's beach volleyball duos in Cuba.
Before specializing in beach volleyball, Veranes competed in other sports including baseball and indoor volleyball. In 2024, the Veranes-Gómez duo made a strong debut on the continental circuit by winning the fifth stop of the 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
In 2026, the Guantánamo pair cemented their standing in the NORCECA Tour, claiming silver medals at both the second stop (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) and the fourth stop (Ciudad Madero, Mexico), establishing themselves as the leading duo in Cuban men's beach volleyball.
