Damián Gómez Limonta is a Cuban beach volleyball player born on October 24, 2004, in the province of Guantánamo. He partners with fellow Guantánamo native Eblis Veranes, forming one of the youngest and most promising men's beach volleyball duos in Cuba.
Before specializing in beach volleyball in 2024, Gómez competed in other disciplines including indoor volleyball and baseball. The Gómez-Veranes duo made an immediate impact on the continental circuit by winning the fifth stop of the 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
In 2026, the pair confirmed their upward trajectory by reaching the final of the second stop of the NORCECA Tour held on the beaches of Güibía in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where they claimed the silver medal after falling to the Mexican duo of Carlos Andrés Ayala and Inés Antonio Vargas Lares 1-2 (17-21, 21-11, 7-15).
