Dany Ome
Dany Daniel Muro Pedraza, known artistically as Dany Ome, is a Cuban urban music singer and songwriter born on April 27, 2001, in Santa Clara, Cuba. At the age of nine he emigrated to the United States with his family, settling in Miami, Florida, the city that would become the center of his musical career.
In Miami, Dany Ome developed his sound by fusing reggaeton with Cuban reparto, a subgenre born in Cuba's neighborhoods that combines elements of timba, rumba, and reggaeton with lyrics rooted in everyday life. His melodic versatility and gift for crafting infectious hooks quickly set him apart in a highly competitive music scene.
His artistic partnership with Kevincito El 13 was the catalyst for his rise. Together they formed the duo Dany Ome & Kevincito El 13, which became one of the most successful reparto acts in the diaspora, with songs such as "A mi no me importa el mundo", "Entiende que", "Lo quiero todo contigo", and "Lindo pero pegao' feo", accumulating millions of streams across digital platforms.
His notable collaborations include work with Jacob Forever, El Chulo, El Taiger, and Almighty. In 2026, the duo reached a new international dimension with the release of "Paciente" alongside Puerto Rican superstar Ozuna, a song that positioned itself as the most significant mainstream milestone for Cuban reparto music to date.
In 2024, Dany Ome returned to Cuba for the first time in twelve years to film a music video with Kevincito El 13 — a trip that carried deep personal significance and attracted wide media attention. His mother, who cleaned houses to support his early career, is a central figure in his story.
