Alejandro Cuervo Aguiar

A native of San Luis, Pinar del Río, popular actor Alejandro Cuervo Aguiar studied at the Instituto Superior de Arte, after graduating from the Escuela Nacional de Arte.

He has been called time and again to take on different roles in television and cinema. On the small screen he began appearing in the teleplay Disparos en el aula (2005), and has become one of the most sought-after young actors to be part of telenovelas produced on the Island. Among them are La cara oculta de la Luna, Aquí estamos, Bajo el mismo sol, Con palabras propias, Playa Leonera and Latidos compartidos, which is currently airing on the Cubavisión channel, under the direction of Consuelo Ramírez Enríquez and Felo Ruiz.

Soon we will be able to appreciate his performance in Hermanos de sangre and Más allá del límite. He has also been called to be part of the cast of the police drama Tras la huella and series such as Los tres Villalobos and UNO. 

As for cinema, he took his first steps with the film Omerta, in 2008, which later opened the doors for him to participate in short films such as Maniobra, which earned him the Adria Santana Acting Award from the Festival Internacional de Cine Pobre; Anfitrión, Círculos rotos and Patas al aire, to return to feature film work with Alejandro Gil in La emboscada.

A restless creator, Alejandro can frequently be seen hosting various shows in cabarets of the caliber of Tropicana, or producing audiovisual projects such as Habana show, Ven báilalo, Doc Manana, Habaneando and El divino.
