Renowned Cuban actors traveled on vacation to Isla Margarita, in Venezuela, invited by the ChagodTour company.

Alicia Hechavarría, Alejandro Cuervo, Maykel Amelia, Leonardo Benítez and Tony Lugones spent a few days enjoying the popular tourist destination, after being selected to promote the travel agency.

"We have the right too, don't we?", reads the Instagram account of Alejandro and Maykel, along with a fun video taken from the Cuban airport.

The young actors have shared videos and photos on their social networks of the places they have visited and the experiences they have had during their stay.

"A fantastic experience and much-needed and well-deserved vacation. Thanks to ChagodTour for this invitation," said Alejandro on his social networks.

"We are in Margarita Islands, Venezuela. The travel agency ChagodTour gave us a special invitation, because they also have many tourist packages and shopping packages for Cubans here that are spectacular," he said in a live stream.

Isla Margarita is a preferred destination for Cubans who dedicate themselves to acquiring products to resell in their country. In 2022, more than 5,000 small business owners traveled to shop, where they spent between 3,500 to 4,000 dollars.

On his Instagram account, Alejandro Cuervo shared several photos outside a McDonald's fast food chain restaurant.

The group had the opportunity to enjoy the beach, local cuisine and tourist sites on the island.

In April of last year, its executives participated in a business fair that was part of the controversial San Remo Festival organized by the wife of the ruler Díaz-Canel, Lis Cuesta Peraza.

Luis Alberto Graham, operational director in Jamaica, explained then to the Excelencias magazine that they contact the client to find out what they want to do on the trip, and create a three-night, four-day package for them that includes shows with Cuban artists, comedians or singers, a concept under which they promote family reunification.

Relatives outside of Cuba of Cubans living in Cuba purchase a package with ChagodTour that includes transportation of these relatives to Jamaica, to spend vacation together.

"The agency handles all visa processing for residents in Cuba, and the price of the packages is fixed. It already includes everything: visa, ticket, four or five-star all-inclusive hotel, transportation, excursions and entry to the show in question. Additional activities can be added to them, more focused on getting to know the ins and outs of the Jamaica destination, such as nature tours and cultural experiences; which according to what the client is looking for, are added to the package," detailed the executive.
