Announcer of the Star News broadcast of Cuban television. Graduate in Sociocultural Studies. Renowned Radio and Television Announcer with 33 years of work at ICRT and more than 27 years in the Television News System. Nine years as head announcer of the Closing News and 17 as the female head announcer of the Star News. Receives the Merit Artist Status of Cuban Radio and Television.
She graduated as a Microcomputer Technician, achieved intermediate level in Russian and subsequently graduated with a Master's degree in Radio and Television Announcing and Presentation in Madrid, Spain.
She embraced the profession of announcer and with her effort, vocation and professionalism rose to the vanguard group of announcers of the National News of Cuban Television.
At 19 years old, she began her working life at Radio Habana Cuba, as a copyist, typist and assistant in the Documentation Center.
In 1993 she had her first camera test at Cubavisión Internacional. And soon after she began working doing newscasts, first off-camera and the following month she did it on camera. In 1994 she did live broadcasts on Cubavisión.
In August 1994, she was assigned the announcing of the second broadcast (now third) of the National Television News and on occasions she did the star broadcast of the same. That same year she had done special live broadcasts on television about the Tourism Convention and special assignments for the Star News.
At the same time from 1994 onwards she simultaneously did the announcing of news within the star time slot of Radio Progreso Discoteca Popular. From this year and during 1995 she also produced programs for Radio Habana Cuba.
Without abandoning the work assigned to her by television, she began at Radio Metropolitana conducting the Cultural Magazine for three hours, in the children's section of the Morning Magazine and announcing newscasts.
In 1998 she began as official substitute for the National Television News in its star broadcast at eight at night. And she continued working as official announcer of the News in its third broadcast.
In 2000 she had important participation in Round Table discussions, political events at the national level, reading of important documents related to the release of the child Elián González, kidnapped in the United States. From that year on, she was called upon by the Institute of Friendship with Peoples, the Palace of Conventions, the Institute of Music, the University of Havana and the Union of Young Communists, among other organizations, to do presentation and hosting work at different political and cultural events.
In 2006 she was promoted as announcer of the National Television News in its star broadcast at 8 at night, where she remained until January 2022. For her professional qualities, she holds the first level as a Radio and Television announcer.
