América Valdés, daughter of Alexis, in Mexican series "El Galán"

The actress, model and singer of Cuban origin, América Valdés, daughter of Alexis Valdés, participates in the Mexican series "El Galán", which will have 12 episodes and can be watched on streaming through Disney's Star+.

"Today I premiere my first project 'El Galán' alongside my dear Humberto Zurita and many other great actors whom I have come to admire and love so deeply", wrote the 20-year-old on her Instagram.

In the series Valdés will be "Cristal", daughter of Fabián Delmar, a man who in the 90s was a Mexican sex symbol. Delmar was played by two Mexican actors, Humberto and Sebastián Zurita (father and son), in two different stages of the show.

"This project changed my life and I'm so excited that you can now see it all over Latin America (…) I hope you love Cristal as much as I love her", added the daughter of renowned actor Alexis Valdés. Her grandfather was another great figure of Cuban TV, so talent runs in her DNA.

Her father, comedian Alexis Valdés, is tremendously proud of his daughter's artistic career and on more than one occasion has spoken about her and one of his latest comments on social media assured that "she went to the big leagues".
