Cuban actor William Levy announced this Tuesday that he plans to retire from soap operas, despite Televisa's million-dollar contracts.
"It's a lot of work, the truth is. I think that as time goes by, one ends up choosing other priorities in life," Levy emphasized on the radio program 'Todo para la mujer'.
The artist did not specify the date of his retirement, mentioning that working in soap operas is the "most grueling work." "
So I do think that yes, this is already a lot of work; it's very exhausting. Soap operas I would say is the most grueling work among theater and film.
It's very difficult, there are many hours of work," emphasized the actor from 'La Tempestad'.
Levy plans to take his career to American cinema.
For some time William Levy has stated that he is retiring from soap operas, but all signs point to this time being serious.
The handsome Cuban actor recently said in an interview that he will dedicate himself to producing television series and film in the United States for the coming year.
Levy made it clear that due to his foray into Hollywood cinema, he will focus on succeeding in the mecca of film and thus open more doors within the world of entertainment, says Terra.com.
"We are preparing three projects for this coming year, including a television series that I am going to produce to show a little more about the lives of Latinos and other films that we are also going to produce," William commented.
Levy's last soap opera was 'La Tempestad' and then he acted in the films 'The Single Moms Club' and 'Addicted'.
