The National Auditorium of this capital overflowed with dance, music, luxury voices and good scenography, with the show "Cuba Vibra", under the direction of Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba.
It was a rainy night but one in which it was worth getting wet for the professionalism of the Antillean company, which has taken the culture of the island to diverse latitudes.
The program began with De tierra y Aire, and from there made a complete journey through Cuban history and culture, but also with much universality.
Spanish had its share with flamenco, but it was clearly Cuban, with the Afro element in particular, what most excited a generous audience before such fine art.
Thus, the finale was the choreography by Lizt Alfonso titled Se armó la rumba, where the corps de ballet, star dancers, a group of musicians and singers of high caliber converged, with emphasis on Pedro Sureda, on piano, for Cuban chords, and Carlos Ernesto Varona on guitar, for the notes of the Iberian.
Bulería, seguidilla, chachachá, mambo, rumba, conga, bolero, feeling, were rhythms and dance steps at the National Auditorium, on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City.
