Cuban troubadour Silvio Rodríguez is returning to Spain in the fall of 2026 for an extensive tour spanning eight cities across the country. The announcement was made on May 19 through his Instagram account @zurron_del_aprendiz and confirmed by OnCuba News.
The tour schedule is as follows:
- September 1 – Barcelona
- September 5 – Zaragoza
- September 12 & 13 – Bilbao
- September 16 – Valencia
- September 19 – A Coruña
- September 25 & 26 – Sevilla
- October 1 – Murcia
- October 4 – Madrid
Silvio Rodríguez is widely regarded as one of the most important figures of the Nueva Trova movement and among the most influential singer-songwriters in Latin American music. He has long enjoyed a deep connection with Spanish audiences, who have followed his work for decades. His tours in Spain are consistently received with tremendous warmth.
The artist, who has been awarded Cuba's National Music Prize and whose discography spans more than twenty studio albums, remains active both on stage and as a composer. Among his best-known songs are Ojalá, Unicornio, and Te doy una canción — compositions that have become cornerstones of Spanish-language popular music.

===BODY=== He was born in San Antonio de los Baños, province of La Habana, Cuba. His father was Dagoberto Rodríguez Ortega, from Vereda Nueva who as a child was an agricultural worker; during World War II he cut diamonds and later was an upholsterer and cabinetmaker. His mother is Argelia Domínguez León, daughter of a family of 11 siblings, some of them workers in the tobacco industry and almost all with musical vocation.
