Samantha Hernández says she has been invited to the 2026 Latin Grammys: "It hasn't been a perfect road, but it's been mine"

Miami-based Cuban model and content creator Samantha Hernández announced on her Instagram account (@samanthaahrdz) that she has been invited to the 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, set for Thursday, November 12, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In the video she posted, Hernández could barely contain her excitement: "They invited us to the Latin Grammys. We're going to the Latin Grammys, everybody." In the caption she wrote that every hard moment and every sacrifice "was worth it," adding: "It hasn't been a perfect road, but it's been mine." She also thanked the awards' organizers and addressed her younger self: "And to the little girl who once dreamed of all this… look how far we're getting. And this is only the beginning."

The invitation is not tied to a nomination. Hernández, who has more than 700,000 Instagram followers, appeared in August as a model in the music video for "La Foto," by El Shadow featuring Nicky Jam, and in September said she had made the final six of a Telemundo casting call for digital content creators.

The ceremony, hosted by Roselyn Sánchez, will air on Univision starting at 8 p.m. Eastern, according to the Latin Recording Academy.
