Rachel Díaz Returns to Univision

While it is true that Rashel Díaz is associated with the Telemundo network, despite her departure in August 2020, the Cuban also was part of Univision where she built her career as a presenter on the early morning news program.

This year, the also businesswoman is celebrating 25 years of her professional career and for this reason she has received a cordial invitation to the program Despierta América with the purpose of paying her tribute for her quarter century in front of television screens. This was announced by the morning show through an announcement on its social networks.

"Tomorrow the great return of @rasheldiaz to @univision and she does it on @despiertamerica where we will celebrate her 25 years of career. You can't miss it!", reads the post which has thrilled all the followers of the experienced communicator.

According to a statement received by our editorial team from her agent, Alberto Gómez, Rashel would receive the golden microphone from the national association of broadcasters of Mexico for her 25 years of trajectory from the hands of her Univision colleagues.

Similarly, Díaz will also receive recognition from the Senate of California for her altruistic work with "Unidos Por La Música", a non-profit organization that helps "dreamers" and low-income families.

Rashel Díaz was at the helm of Telemundo's morning show since 2008, and in fact, she was one of the pioneers of the program when it started its broadcasts. The television host saw a large number of talents pass in front of the show's cameras such as Alan Tacher, Diego Schoening, Ana María Canseco, Zuleyka Rivera, Daniel Sarcos, among others.

Just over six months after her indefinite departure from television, the presenter has devoted herself completely to developing projects she had in the works and that are now her priority. Both she and her husband, Carlos García, are planning to acquire properties to remodel them and then rent them to tourists as a bed & breakfast.
