After the anticipation generated from each of their social networks, today Friday premieres a new collaboration between Leoni Torres, Cimafunk and Brenda Navarrete: Aunque sea un ratico.

The promotional union between the production companies Puntilla Music and Mala Cabeza Music sustains the immense popularity of the three exponents of Cuban music, and validates the idea that such different styles can coexist and become a success.

Exclusively to ACN, Cimafunk said that it was a very good experience, where based on vocal marks and three that Leoni sent him, he built the sequence of beats and the production, attending to the individualities of each one.

The song has a very "Leoni" sound, and when it came time to create the bass line and the effects, I thought it would be too complicated, he added. In the end it did work and I learned so much in the process because I connected a lot with the identity of his sound.

When the idea of also including Brenda came up, it helped that the author of "Me voy" knew her perfectly from the times when they came together in the Interactivo band.

When each one is in their own mechanics, and each one has their own sound, the richest thing is to collaborate because that's where the songs become more seasoned and gain greater richness in terms of the changes, the sounds, everything, Cimafunk concluded.

After the recording, the music video did not take long, and for this, they counted on the same director of the Parar el tiempo remix with Mexican Salma, Nestor Kim.

Rural landscapes and much fusion complete a visual style that supports the versatility of the three artists, as well as a story told from a Leoni transformed into a guajiro tractor driver, Cimafunk bringing his flow to the middle of the countryside, and Brenda showing off her grace as a Cuban woman.

In particular, Leoni's new release, Alma Cubana, is receiving a lot of repercussion both nationally and internationally; while Cimafunk still receives praise for his album Terapia in full promotion of the EP Cun Cun Pra.

Brenda, an exceptional interpreter and percussionist, also possesses wide recognition within the jazz community and in the exploration of Afro-Cuban sounds, while composing and directing her roster with passion and success.

Aunque sea un ratico is available starting today on digital platforms and social networks of the trio of artists, which represents the start of summer marked by the impact of COVID-19, but with the desire to continue creating and defending contemporary Cuban music.

You can feel the vibe of connection, of friendship and flavor, concluded the popular former medical student turned media success and baptized by Argentine Fito Páez as "God of ebony".
