Following the artistic path of her mother Malena Burke and her grandmother Elena Burke ("The Lady of Sentiment"), Lena has already accumulated almost a dozen albums.

Among her discographic productions stand out Lena, Cuba, La Mala and Alex, Jorge y Lena. The latter emerged in 2010 when the artist, after having built a solo career, joined Colombian Jorge Villamizar and Spanish Álex Ubago and they functioned as a group for a while.

While the album La Mala (2008) was the soundtrack to the film of the same name, inspired by Cuban singer La Lupe and where Lena was the lead actress. The film was directed by Pedro Pérez Rosado and Lilian Rosado González.

Lena Burke left Cuba in 1993, at age 17, heading to Canada. She stayed there for eight months and then moved to Venezuela, where her mother already lived.

Graduated in classical piano, during her years in Venezuela she began to venture into the genres of boleros, guarachas and danzones, playing piano for Malena Burke. Subsequently both settled in the United States.

In 2003 she began her solo career with the support of Alejandro Sanz, with whom she recorded a duet "Tu corazón". This song was the takeoff of her career.

Before launching as a soloist she had done backing vocals for numerous recordings of singers such as Chayanne, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer López, Christian Castro, Enrique Iglesias, Plácido Domingo and Thalía.

Among the songs composed and written by her are "Viejos Tiempos", "Eterna pasajera", "Noche como esta" and "Amanecerte la Vida".
