Cuban Jhoen Lefont has been exhibiting since today a new Guinness record for ball control, swimming 600 meters while keeping a soccer ball balanced on his head.

At the Baraguá Pool Complex, east of the Cuban capital, "The Dolphin," as he is popularly known, broke his own 100-meter mark the day before.

It was an extremely difficult test. At 250 meters, right in the middle of the course, I had a small loss of balance and almost lost the ball, he said after completing the test.

This is the second time since September that the former water polo player has managed to set a new record, as just days ago he was holding a soccer ball on his head underwater for 23 minutes, two seconds and 64 hundredths.

Lefont holds other records, such as most touches of the ball with the head (1,958), most touches of the ball with the head in one minute (162) and most impacts with a 15-kilogram weight around the waist (99), always in the water.

At the Pool Complex itself, he assured that there is still one record attempt left this year, specifically that last one with weight around the waist.
