The Havana Glasgow Film Festival closed its curtains in that Scottish city with the screening of The Death of a Bureaucrat and Up to a Certain Point, by Cuban filmmaker Tomás Gutiérrez Alea (Titón).

The program of the event that began last Wednesday in that Scottish city included the presentation of Titón: From Havana to Guantanamera, a documentary made by his widow, actress Mirtha Ibarra, which covers aspects of the life of the renowned director, and interviews with colleagues, actors and writers.

Following the screening, the audience had the opportunity to interact with Ibarra, a special guest at the Havana Glasgow Festival, dedicated this time to the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), and to the 500 years of the founding of the Cuban capital.
