Cuban performer Haydée Milanés, daughter of the late troubadour Pablo Milanés, announced through her social media her first concert of 2023, which will take place at the Flamingo Theater Bar in Miami on March 10th.
"To all my friends, with great excitement, I announce my first concert of this year. I'm eager to sing. Don't miss it. Big hug, blessings and a nice week," wrote the singer-songwriter on her Facebook profile.
It will also be Haydée's first concert since her father's death in Spain, which occurred in November 2022. In the midst of tragedy, the performer thanked all the support and encouragement she received from her fans and lovers of the great Pablo Milanés's music.
"I have no words to thank you for the beautiful and sincere gestures of love toward my father. To all his people who mourn him today, I want to tell you that all the love you feel for him is the same love he felt for you," expressed the young artist.
Haydée Milanés informed that during the concert she will have the participation of some special guests.
In 2017, the performer presented the album "Amor, Haydée Milanés in duet with Pablo Milanés", an exquisite material in tribute to her father's work and Cuban song.
With the company of her father, Haydée made a musical selection of the troubadour's mythical songs in this recording with which they performed some presentations on the island.
The album contains 11 songs composed by Pablo between the 1960s and 1980s, including some practically unknown themes that Haydée rescued and others that are already major hits, such as the first single "Para vivir".
"The voices of Haydée and Pablo are the great protagonists in this album, those that among great songs, show us the singing of an entire life, dedicated to music, poetry and love," assured the artist on her website.
Subsequently the singer presented "Amor Deluxe Edition", a double album that included "Amor" and the new Deluxe Edition with 16 songs that did not appear on the first album.
This is how emblematic songs such as "Yolanda", "El primer amor", "La soledad", "Todos los ojos te miran" and "Si ella me faltara alguna vez" came to light in the voices of stars of Hispanic music such as Joaquín Sabina, Fito Páez, Pancho Céspedes, Carlos Varela, Rosalía León, Pavel Núñez, Lila Downs, Julieta Venegas, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Chico Buarque, Omara Portuondo, Edgar Oceransky and Pedro Aznar.
