Four Cubans participated in second All-Star game of Japanese baseball

Four Cuban baseball players competed on Wednesday in the second and final game of the 2022 Japanese Professional Baseball League All-Star Series.



The matchup ended with a victory for the Pacific League team (which also won the first game) by a score of 2-1 over the Central League.



Playing for the Pacific League were Liván Moinelo and Yurisbel Gracial, both from the Softbank Hawks.



Moinelo struck out the only batter he faced in relief and maintained his ERA at 0.00.



Gracial from Matanzas did not bat in three at-bats and finished with an average of .000.



Taking the field for the Central League team were players from the Chunichi Dragons Raidel Martínez and Dayán Viciedo.



One hit and one strikeout in one inning as a relief pitcher were the statistics in Raidel Martínez's game, with an average of 0.00.



Viciedo entered as a substitute in the sixth inning. He had one hit in two at-bats.



The season will resume on Friday with six games.



According to press reports, Cubans Pedro Pablo Revilla and Guillermo García could make their debut with the Dragons' first team.
