Experienced Cuban fighter Héctor Lombard lived through one of the toughest nights of his career inside the Dirty Boxing Championship. In just 19 seconds of the first round, Lombard fell by technical knockout against James "The Loose" Cannon on the DBX 3 card.

The fight, which promised to be one of the highlights of the evening, ended sooner than expected. Cannon surprised from the start with a precise combination that left Lombard disconnected and on the canvas, while his rival celebrated in front of the fans gathered at The Hangar, Coconut Grove.

Although he tried to react, the Cuban couldn't recover and was subjected to a fierce barrage of ground-and-pound strikes that forced the referee to stop the action without hesitation.

With this defeat, Lombard—a historic figure in mixed martial arts and bare-knuckle boxing—continues to add chapters to a career marked by both great triumphs and dramatic setbacks, and it remains to be seen how he plans his next move.

For his part, Cannon secured a prestigious victory and made clear that he wants to become one of the names to watch in the emerging Dirty Boxing league.

The Big Boy rises as Dirty Boxing champion

Jairzinho Rozenstruik didn't need much time to make clear that his name is written in Dirty Boxing history. In just one round, the Surinamese landed a devastating blow that shut out Rakim Cleveland's lights and made him the first heavyweight champion of the DBX company.

The knockout came at 1:54 of the first round at the Hangar at Regatta Harbour, where a crowd celebrated the explosive power of a man already known for his demolishing punch in other leagues and who now takes hold of the top throne in this new adventure of combat sports.

With the victory, Rozenstruik takes home the inaugural belt in the division, a title that symbolizes much more than an individual triumph: it is the official opening of a division that promises strong emotions in Dirty Boxing. The promotion, which continues to gain traction in Miami, couldn't have asked for a better start to its heavyweight crown.

Cleveland, for his part, showed bravery at the start, but never could decipher his rival's reach or power. One accurate impact was enough for the fight to go from tension to silence, and then to the roar of the crowd before the spectacular finish.
