Héctor Miguel Lombard Pedrosa

Lombard is a Cuban-Australian mixed martial arts fighter and former Olympic judoka who competed in the welterweight category in the UFC. He currently competes in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Lombard is a fourth-degree black belt in Judo and former Olympic Judo competitor for Cuba. Lombard currently trains at the famous American Top Team facility in Coconut Creek, Florida. Marcus "Conan" Silveira (ATT head coach) awarded Lombard his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu following his victory at CFC 12.

It was confirmed on April 24, 2012, that Lombard had signed with the UFC, thus avoiding his rematch mandate with Alexander Shlemenko in Bellator.

Lombard was expected to make his debut against Brian Stann on August 4, 2012 at UFC on Fox 4.6​7​ However, Stann was forced to withdraw from the fight citing a shoulder injury. In turn, Lombard was removed from the card and instead faced Tim Boetsch on July 21, 2012 at UFC 149, replacing the injured Michael Bisping.​ Lombard lost his UFC debut by split decision.

On December 15, 2012, Lombard faced Rousimar Palhares at UFC on FX 6.​ Lombard won the fight by knockout in the first round.

Lombard was defeated by Yushin Okami at UFC on Fuel TV 8 on March 3, 2013 by split decision.

Drop to Welterweight
Lombard dropped to the welterweight division to face Nate Marquardt on October 19, 2013 at UFC 166.​ Lombard defeated Marquardt by knockout in the first round.

Lombard faced Jake Shields on March 15, 2014 at UFC 171. Lombard won the fight by unanimous decision.

On January 3, 2015, Lombard faced Josh Burkman at UFC 182. Lombard won the fight by unanimous decision. On March 23, 2015, a one-year suspension and a fine of $53,000 were announced for his positive test for testosterone anabolics.

On March 20, 2016, Lombard returned from his suspension and faced Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 85.​ Lombard lost the fight by technical knockout in the third round.

Return to Middleweight and Losing Streak
Lombard faced Dan Henderson on June 4, 2016 at UFC 199.​ Lombard lost the fight by knockout in the second round.

Lombard was expected to face Brad Tavares on January 28, 2017 at UFC on Fox 23. However, the fight was canceled on January 10 due to undisclosed reasons. Lombard was quickly rescheduled and faced Johny Hendricks on February 19, 2017 at UFC Fight Night 105. He lost the fight by unanimous decision.

Lombard faced Anthony Smith on September 16, 2017 at UFC Fight Night 116. He lost the fight via TKO in the third round.

Lombard faced C.B. Dollaway on March 3, 2018 at UFC 222. At the end of the first round, Lombard landed two strikes after the bell, which gave Dolloway a suspected concussion and prevented him from continuing. Lombard was disqualified for the strikes after the bell.

Lombard faced Thales Leites on September 22, 2018 at UFC Fight Night 137. He lost the fight by unanimous decision.
