This list is made up of the 100 public figures who, within their respective fields, represent the future
Time magazine included the young Cuban-American singer Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, better known as "Camila Cabello", in its "Top 100 Next". A list made up of the 100 public figures who, within their respective fields, represent the future.
Cabello, for her part, leads the selection of musical artists alongside Puerto Rican singer and activist Bad Bunny and Asian-origin actress Awkwafina
"Camila Cabello is a pure and magnetic artist (…) In all my years in this industry, Camila was the first artist I told that she could choose any song she wanted to sing", declared Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz in a note he published about the artist's award.
"When Camila decided to start recording as a solo artist, after her success with Fifth Harmony, it was not just to begin building her own career. By recording as a solo artist, she also brought the roots of Latin music to a much larger audience", he added.

Finally, the interpreter of "Corazón Partío" assured that Camila has known how to defend her music in a very authentic way.
"In moments like these, when noise can distort the purity of an artist's message, Camila has managed to honor her story and her background in an authentic way with her pop music. The impact of her songs, from 'Habana' and 'Señorita' to 'Shameless' and 'Liar', have opened the door for the world to see and hear the enormous potential of the Latin music community", he concluded.
Cabello, born on March 3, 1997 in the capital town of Cojímar, Habana del Este, emigrated at just 7 years old to the United States with her family.
In 2012 the artist became part of the female group Fifth Harmony, after auditioning for the talent-hunting program "The X Factor". The band released an EP and two studio albums. However, just four years later Camila announced her departure from the group to begin her solo career. Since then, the Cuban has not stopped rising in the music world.
In turn, Camila has been involved in several public interest campaigns and has worked with non-governmental organizations. In March of last year, Cabello visited children at the Childrens Health Foundation in Miami and performed at the concert held by former First Lady Michelle Obama to celebrate education.
