Cuba and Puerto Rico unite microphones and talent in Blam Blam, an explosive collaboration by artists Vico C, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Al2 El Aldeano that burst onto the music scene this Thursday.

The video, premiered on Youtube and major digital platforms, is a masterful mix of styles.

First, Gilberto Santa Rosa captivates with his unmistakable salsa, then Vico C moves the atmosphere into the urban genre and to put the finishing touch, Al2 heats up the speakers rapping.

Blam Blam is part of Vico C's most recent album and for several days fans of the trio of artists were in anticipation, as the announcement of the collaboration spread on social media.

The album, titled Pánico, represents Vico C's return to music after nearly 15 years and is composed of 15 songs.

Blam Blam narrates the story of a young Vico C, who was a cornerstone of the urban genre and who returns to claim his place after a prolonged retirement.

The song's lyrics point out that "Once upon a time there was a boy from the slums, who invented an urban movement, and now as an old man comes back to fight for everything that was taken from his hands".

"I'm no longer looking for crowns and titles, if I already have my own cubicle," sings the Puerto Rican at another moment.

Al2, for his part, recalls in the song that he "comes from the Cayman island", in reference to his Cuban origins and that he didn't have a plan, he "just rapped". "And those who criticized me, where are they now?", he adds.

Previously, Al2 had expressed on social media that Vico C is and will always be the inspiration of many like him.

For his part, Vico C himself revealed on the television program En casa con Telemundo, that the musical proposal he had released had received a positive reception, even more quickly than he expected.
