Verónica Cervera

Verónica Cervera is a chef from Caibarién based in Miami, and is one of the 10 Latin bloggers that NBC News recommends following in 2016, whom it considers a leader in shaping opinion, thanks to her blog La cocina de Vero.

Verónica has resided in the city of Miami since 1994, adores food and travel. She is always trying and developing new dishes. All the recipes she publishes on her blog are homemade and havebeen tested before being published. 

She worked at Prisa Ediciones for almost 19 years and then became part of the Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial USA team. The blog is her hobby and cooking is her great passion. -

She has written a book "La cocina cubana de Vero", published in Spain under the Oberon imprint of the Anaya publishing house.

She was part of the founding team of the Baby Center en Español blog from 2011 to 2014 and continues writing as a specialist for their website. She has participated in the Cocina Simbiótica project by Miguel Ángel Almodóvar. I have also collaborated with the gastronomy section of El Nuevo Herald, El Velero de Yaiza, Telemundo 51, Spanglish Beauty and Travel Curious Often, Qué rica vida; and have prepared recipes for campaigns of the brands Avocados de Mexico, Cacique, Maseca, Kikkoman and Gallo Family Vineyards, among others.

In September 2013 she was selected as Top Blogger of LATISM and her blog was a finalist in the Best Food Blog category.
